Oysters Kilpatrick

COOKING TIME: 5 – 7 mins
Ingredients:

1 dozen oysters
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
100g bacon

Optional: Shredded cheese, Lemon wedges, Tabasco sauce.

Method:
  1. Select the grill setting on your oven, and pre-heat to 220°c.
  2. If whole, ‘Shuck‘ the oysters, then place flat on an oven tray.
  3. Dice bacon, and add to a bowl with 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce. Mix well.
  4. Spoon a small amount of this mixture into each your oyster shells.
  5. Add cheese – if desired, then grill on 220°c for 5 – 7 mins. The oysters will be ready when the bacon is crispy and the cheese is melted.
  6. Serve immediately, with a side of lemon wedges or a drizzle of tabasco sauce (optional).

Warning: The shells will be extremely hot.
