Where are the training courses held?

Training is held online via the ‘Microsoft Teams’ application.

What do I need to participate?

Each course will require access to a phone, computer, or tablet with a microphone and camera.
Access to a printer and scanner is also required for NSW Firearms licence participants. Your local library or council chambers may be able to assist you with printing or scanning the required course materials.

Note: A P650 form MUST be completed, signed, and returned to us before the commencement of a NSW firearms licence course.

What should I expect on the day?

  • Login to the training session 10-15 minutes before the nominated start time. This will ensure the course is not held up due to late participants.
  • Once joined, you will sit in a digital ‘waiting room’ until the trainer adds you to the training session.
  • The trainer will then read and discuss the course contents with participants.
  • Following this, all participants will be required to undertake a multiple choice exam and email it to the trainer.
  • Once marked, feedback will be given to the learner. If you have answered any question incorrectly, you will been given an opportunity to select a different answer.
  • Once you have successfully completely the course, a course completion certificate will be sent to you via email.

Payment and course attendance must be confirmed by the learner at least 48 hours prior to the nominated training date. This will provide us with enough time to email through all of the required training materials and plan our training sessions. To organise a training session, please fill out the form below and we will get back to you ASAP.

Unless otherwise specified, all courses are run online through the ‘Microsoft Teams’ App.
